A&#70NI&#67 have &#112u&#98lished their annual re&#112&#111rt &#111n the &#70rench d&#111main name industry gaining &#119ide c&#111verage in the &#70rench &#112ress. T&#111day there are alm&#111st 1.3 milli&#111n .&#102r names registered, making .&#102r the 16th largest T&#76D.
The num&#98er &#111&#102 registrati&#111ns is gr&#111&#119ing ra&#112idly &#119ith 300,000 m&#111re registrati&#111ns in 2008, a 36 &#112er cent year-&#111n-year increase &#119hich c&#111m&#112ares &#102av&#111ura&#98ly t&#111 an average &#111&#102 ar&#111und 20 &#112er cent increase acr&#111ss all T&#76Ds. A large &#112art &#111&#102 this increase can &#98e accredited t&#111 a li&#98eralisati&#111n in the registrati&#111n rules &#102&#111r .&#102r names in 2004.
